Walking on tour:

Travelers should be prepared for some high altitude travel on Mexico City to Acapulco, which may make walking more difficult. While sightseeing will never involve strenuous hikes, some walks and climbs over very old ruins and uneven, rocky or jungle terrain will occur. Travelers should be comfortable with climbing steps and small hills.

In order to enter Mexico, U.S. and Canadian citizens need proof of citizenship. Please note: As of January 1, 2007, a passport is required for U.S. and Canadian citizens to enter Mexico. The expiration date must extend at least six months beyond the date of your return home.
